Refreshing wines made for summer recipes

The word “fresh” applies to a number of Toad Hollow wines. Our Chardonnay, Rosé, Risqué, Amplexus, and Pinot Noir all fit the description for their affinity with meals featuring garden-fresh produce.

In June and July, retailers in all parts of the United States offer specials on our “fresh” wines. These summer months—with their abundance of freshly grown and perfectly ripened tomatoes, cucumbers, Swiss chard and so much more produce at its peak—beg for meals showcasing the season.

The national Fine Art of Fresh retail campaign is a way for you to enjoy a beautiful summer meal paired with our wines. Our friend and talented Texas chef Christian Mailloux knows a thing or two about how to bring the garden to the table. His recipes, designed to complement our Chardonnay, Dry Rosé, Sparklers, and Pinot Noir, are free to you at Toad Hollow’s Fine Art of Fresh point-of-purchase displays nationwide.

As a preview, Chef Christian offers something fresh off the boat and fresh out of the garden with his recipe for Baked Rockfish with a Cucumber-Radish Salad.

Fresh rockfish, cod, or sea bass is baked with delicate seasonings and served with a refreshing cucumber and radish side salad. Toad Hollow’s crisp Chardonnay pairs seamlessly with the flavors. Get the recipe here!  www.toadhollow.com/events-and-news/ToadtoTableRecipes
